Finger Foods..... Messy Business!

Megan's appetite is growing.... We have been experimenting with finger foods lately - she loves picking the food up, squishing it and then shoving it in! Her favourites at the moment are cheese, broccoli, ham and cheese spread on bread!

Family Day Out

With the weather being so nice lately we decided on a family trip to Trosley Country Park.... Daddy showed off his big muscles by climbing the poles whilst Megan and mummy looked on in admiration!!

9 Months Old

Megan is 9 months old today! She got weighed on Monday 18lb 15oz.... Big Girl!

Our Wedding Day

Our wedding day finally arrived. Saturday 9th May 2009. We had the most amazing wedding day, perfect in fact and we got to share it with all of our lovely family and friends who travelled far and wide.... Pictures to follow, in the meantime Lee and I are off on our honeymoon to Morocco whilst Megan is looked after by Nanny Ward for a few nights - thank you nanny!

8 Months Old

Wriggle Bottom!

Megan is a wriggle bottom, it is like she has ants in her pants! She loves sitting up all the time now, when you hold her in a standing position she jumps (like she is in her jumperoo) and she is getting to the stage where she can push up on one arm into an almost sitting position, but not quite so gets quite frustrated....Mummy to the rescue! O and changing her nappy these days is a challenge!!

Sunshine & Time to Play

We had a great day in the garden today, the sunshine was just what we needed!

Sleepover

Megan had her first sleepover this weekend. Holly and Grace came to stay. We had a fun time and the girls were super helpful. They all slept in Megan's room and were well behaved. Gracie has a new name for Megan, she now calls her Twinkle-toes. Holly makes Megan crack up laughing with her funny noises. It's all very cute to watch!

Holding her own head up
Smiling, and then laughing
Rolling over, and then sitting
Eating solid food from a spoon
Managing to eat finger foods
Coughing to get attention and when that doesn't work crying to get what she wants!
Training Mummy, Daddy (and nanny) to respond to her attention techniques
Pulling hair
Slapping Mummy's skin
Grabbing for nanny's and mummy's necklaces
Cutting two teeth (so far)
Drinking from a sippy cup
Sitting up on her own
Reaching forward for her toys and passing from one hand to the other
Bouncing in her jumperoo

7 Months Old

Megan is 7 months old today and it was also her first time on the swings at one of our local parks... She loved it!
