Will the sickness ever get better??

Oh my goodness I am so over this sickness!! IWho ever named it morning sickness was so wrong, it should be called morning, noon and night sickness. Just a whiff of toilet cleaner or pizza or garlic, in fact most food makes me want to barf. Especially Lee's "manfume" which normally makes me want to sniff and snuggle in to him actually makes me want to chunder... Ohhhh but guaranteed to make me dry wretch for 15 minutes happens every morning and night when I have to pluck up the courage to clean my teeth.... This is the only time I can eat for two and get away with it and I have gone off food & lost weight!!

13 Week Scan

We finally got to see our baby for the first time today.... I cried, Lee was brave and cuddled me! Everything is looking good and we have a low risk pregnancy. I didn't even pass out when my bloods were being taken (although I did feel dodgy!)

Phew, now on to the next step

The morning sickness is still horrible, lasting all day and night. I feel OK around lunch time but every other evening, Lee spends the night rubbing my back whilst I am bent over the loo (nice eh)

Roll on those next few weeks when hopefully, the sickness will ease up???

We have a date....

for our first scan, we are both very excited! Monday 11 February, 13:30 at Queen Marys Hospital, Sidcup... All of our fingers and toes are crossed. It is amazing to think that we will see and hear our baby for the first time. We wish it were today!
