What a wonderful Christmas
Wow what a wonderful Christmas. Freya and Mummy came out of hospital on Christmas Eve and the Ward family enjoyed their first Christmas at home as a family of four... Perfect!

Welcome to the world Freya
The day finally arrived when we met our beautiful baby girl for the first time. Freya Lindsay Christine Ward was born on 22 December at 10:37am weighing 8lb 10oz.... A double of her bigger sister Megan

Mummy's Belly Is Growing...
35 weeks and counting... My baby sister is keeping mummy up at night as well as her SPD and now mummy has to use crutches until she arrives into the world...

Megan meets Finlay
We spent the day with Nanna & Grandad B, Uncle Steve, Auntie Shell, Auntie Maggot, Holly and Grace and Megan met her new cousin Fin for the first time... She kept kissing him and trying to touch him, and calling him baby... So sweet...

A Busy Time!
It has been a while since we posted on our blog so we thought it was about time it was updated! Here is a quick summary of what has been happening in the Ward house:
- Megan has learnt to walk and currently developing her running skills
- Megan's speech is coming along nicely, her favourite words at the moment are bunny, bye bye my baby, daddy, mummy, yes, no and we are working on thank you and please!
- Megan started nursery on 1 October 2009 - it took a couple of weeks to settle in but she absolutely loves it now... Although misses Auntie Maggot, Uncle Ian, Holly & Grace very much
- The Ward's were happy to hear about the safe arrival of baby Myla into the world on 11 October 2009 - a little earlier than planned but great news that Myla, Mummy & Daddy are all doing well and Myla is now at home :)
- The Ward's were also very happy to hear that Uncle Steve & Auntie Michelle's new baby boy Finley arrived safely into the world and our family on 18 October 2009, again a little earlier than planned :)
- We celebrated 6 months of marriage on 9th November....
- Baby Ward #2 is only 6 weeks away from her due date - how fast the time has passed, well not for me but everyone else!!

Happy Halloween.... Party Time!
Megan joined her little pals Evie & Violette for a Halloween Party & trick or treating on Saturday... It was the cutest thing seeing a mini-witch, ninja & tigger playing together :)

Christmas Tree Farm
We took Megan to Christmas Tree Farm for a birthday treat today along with Nanny & Grandad Ward, Cally & Sam... It was a lovely day and Megan enjoyed looking at the animals and sharing an ice cream with Nanny!

Megan's going to be a big sister!

Pulling Myself Up!
"Not only can I crawl but I have learnt to pull myself up on just about anything too!" If Megan could talk, that is what she would say. Actually, Megan's vocabulary is developing, she can now say "hello", "Dad Dad", "Mamma" & "Grandad"... We are working on ball, book, yes, no and cup! What a clever girl
Megan Finds Daddy's Beer Stash!
O dear with Megan exploring more and more each day, she has now discovered Daddy's beer stash.... Nothing is safe at Megan level!!

On the move....
As of last Thursday Megan can officially crawl.... Getting faster by the day too. Every where we go we now have to "baby-proof" the place and Daddy cannot leave Megan on the bed anymore as she tries to roll off it! The fun starts here.....!

Party Time
Megan and her best pal Evie rocked on up to Kaleb's first birthday party this weekend... They had a great time playing in the sunshine whilst mummy and Pauline ate all the cake!!

10 Months Old
Megan is 10 months old today.... Amazing how quickly the time has passed. Her two top teeth are just breaking through her gums (poor baby) but she still manages to smile most of the time :)

Finger Foods..... Messy Business!
Megan's appetite is growing.... We have been experimenting with finger foods lately - she loves picking the food up, squishing it and then shoving it in! Her favourites at the moment are cheese, broccoli, ham and cheese spread on bread!

Family Day Out
With the weather being so nice lately we decided on a family trip to Trosley Country Park.... Daddy showed off his big muscles by climbing the poles whilst Megan and mummy looked on in admiration!!

Our Wedding Day
Our wedding day finally arrived. Saturday 9th May 2009. We had the most amazing wedding day, perfect in fact and we got to share it with all of our lovely family and friends who travelled far and wide.... Pictures to follow, in the meantime Lee and I are off on our honeymoon to Morocco whilst Megan is looked after by Nanny Ward for a few nights - thank you nanny!

Wriggle Bottom!
Megan is a wriggle bottom, it is like she has ants in her pants! She loves sitting up all the time now, when you hold her in a standing position she jumps (like she is in her jumperoo) and she is getting to the stage where she can push up on one arm into an almost sitting position, but not quite so gets quite frustrated....Mummy to the rescue! O and changing her nappy these days is a challenge!!
