2 Weeks Old and 2 peas in a pod!

I couldn't resist taking this photo, only 2 weeks old and already she has daddy's pose down to a tee! You cannot mistake who's daughter Megan is... Wonder if she will look like me soon?

Megan's visitors...

Megan has been spoilt rotten with kisses and cuddles from some of our wonderful family and friends over the last 13 days (that's how long she has been in the world which seems to have flown by...) that have come to visit and we still have lots more visits planned....

Introducing Megan Ward

After a very long but worthwhile wait, our beautiful baby girl Megan Lisa Lola Ward was born on 14 August 2008 at 2.37pm weighing 8lbs 11oz

Having spent 2 nights in hospital we came home on Saturday evening and have been settling in to family life, which is amazing even if we are surviving on very little sleep!!

Megan has already had lots of visitors and we can't wait for all our friends and family to meet her, she is absolutely delicious... Thanks for all of our cards, text messages, phone calls and the generous gifts we have received, we are over whelmed by the love and support from our family and friends

No going back - 40 Weeks

We seriously cannot believe that we will see our little baby tomorrow and if all going well it should be by tomorrow lunchtime - eeek!!! We have mixed emotions today, mainly excitement and joy but every now and then Lee and I will look at each other and gulp hard..... We will let everyone know as soon as possible the outcome (thanks Tess for the top tip - didn't think of that so Lee is off out in a mo to buy some straws!)

5 Sleeps Left!!

Until we become a family of 3 (unless the stubborn little miss turns at the last minute of course, then we have to wait for nature to take its course)... There are mixed emotions from us both, mostly excitement as we are both ready for our little one to appear but at the same time we are both a little scared!! Roll on Thursday morning :)

We are all set!

We finally have everything we need for our pending arrival... After a few weeks of stressing about whether our travel system would arrive in time or not (due to high demand!) with the help of Lee's wonderful parents we managed to pick the last one up in store.... So now it is all assembled and ready for use next week... Carry cot mode at the moment which will turn in to stroller mode when our baby is a little older and this clever contraption also allows us to add the car seat on to the frame too - genius!

Baby Ward's Birth Date Confirmed!

So after a good few appointments with the obstetrician at QM Hospital to discuss our options on how to get our breech baby Ward safely into the world, turning such a large baby is not an option we wanted to go through with so Lee and I were booked in for a cesarean section on 14 August - 13 days from today and we have to say it is very exciting if not a little scary. After all this time I cannot believe we will be seeing our daughter for the first time in just under 2 weeks - yippeeeeeeee :)
