Baby Ward Breech Update...

Lee and I spent 3 hours at QM Hospital yesterday being poked and prodded, listening to her heartbeat, having bloods taken in the anti natal clinic, most of our time was waiting for the Obs consultant to come and see us to discuss our options about breech baby Ward...
So the options we have are as follows - try and get the baby turned or have a c-section in the 39th week...
The turning of the baby procedure is carried out by monitoring the heartbeat of the baby for 30 minutes before the procedure (and constantly monitored throughout) I will be in theatre for the procedure as they will need to prepare me for an emergency c-section if necessary (although the risk of this happening are quite low, but baby Ward could become distressed and therefore will need whipping out quickly). They will then inject my uterus in order to relax it a little and very slowly try to turn our baby so her head will be down and not poking me in the ribs! It should only take around 10 minutes to complete the procedure but with anything there are risks which is why Lee and I are unsure to go through with this... Especially when the consultant mentioned the baby could be hurt and could bleed, become distressed etc. and as this is taking place over 37 weeks and it is my first baby there is only a small chance that this will actually work, you never know, she could turn on her own but due to her size it is unlikely....
So the only other option we have is to have a c-section which would take place in under 2 weeks!
Whilst we make our minds up (and we have the weekend) we have booked an appointment to have the turning procedure done on Tuesday - so another update next week on our final decision...
